What It Says On The Website

Former IT guy Lee Moore, famous for the FX Friday Trading system and the Fix The Markets Signal service has now followed up the latter with the Reaction Forex Signal service.

Lee leads with the headline “Learning to trade Forex is difficult so don’t bother”.

Then a little about the service – Ten minutes once a week is all you need to claim/make/earn/add/pocket/bank (all these words are used) an extra £128, £130 or £135 (Note: these returns include and assume an initial stake of £100 (and a £2,000 account based on 5% risk per trade) so we believe it would be more fair to state an extra £28, £30 or £35) a week from the Currency markets with:

    • No study
    • No special software
    • No maths

Just a mobile phone, internet access and the ability to follow 1 simple instruction. “You just get a text…” “Place your trade…” “Collect your profit…”

And here’s what you can do with your profits:

    • Afford that Sky Sports subscription
    • Spend a ridiculous amount on a new handbag
    • Designer sunglasses
    • Book a table at a restaurant you figured was beyond your budget

The Reaction Forex Signal service claims an 82% win rate in 2012.

    The Service

A 30 page User guide (a password protected pdf) is provided with this service. It explains Fixed Odds trading and provides a little bit of background on Lee’s strategic approach to the markets. The manual then identifies that only “No Touch” and “One Touch” Fixed Odds bet types are used and it also explains how these bet types work. A signal example is provided as is a walkthrough of how to place a trade (on BetOnMarkets). Lee rounds off with some Risk management and suggests around 5% risk per trade and to never place a trade if the return is less than 20% (typical returns being 30-35%). All rather simple stuff but nonetheless quite well written and presented – Will certainly be of interested and use to complete beginners.

Signals are sent Monday to Friday between the hours of 08:00 and 21:00 with the time 16:00 being most likely (during the time we had access we received all our signals between 11:00 and 15:00).

Example signal received by email and SMS:

    Market: EURGBP
    Bet type: NO TOUCH
    Barrier: 0.8575
    Duration: ONE DAY
    Net profit target: +30%

Clear and also easy to place. We reacted as soon as we received the signals and give or take a percentage or two plus/minus were usually around the same return specified in the signal.

As mentioned above the service claims an 82% win rate in 2012 which sadly we did not achieve as we had 3 winners and 2 losers (first signal received on 23rd April) – A 60% win rate – Admittedly over a very short period of time (see below). It means, based on a £2,000 account and 5% risk per trade (£100) we are down -£100 (-5%) for the period.

If Lee manages to get back to the 80% strike rate, we have estimated that even after 10 more trades (8 winners and 2 losers) we will still be in negative territory.

As we have based this review on a very short period of time we will of course continue to monitor and report back in order to give this service more time to prove itself.

However, we see little difference between this service and its predecessor, Fix The Markets (read our review here) other than the subscription price (Reaction Forex is about 10% the cost of Fix The Markets).

    Summary

    PRO’s
    •  “You just get a text…” “Place your trade…” – True.
    •  Ten minutes once a week is all you need” – True.

    CON’s
    •  We didn’t achieve the 82% strike rate (but this is based on a very short period of time so as promised we will continue to monitor).
    •  Even with an 82% strike rate, 35% return per trade, 5 trades a month, 5% risk per trade, the suggested minimum bank of £500 would return £160.50 a year – Remember to deduct the annual cost of the service from this.
    •  If we drop that strike rate just slightly to 80% and the return per trade to 30%, assuming a £500 account you would fail to cover the annual cost of this service after year 1 (£77).

Do remember, your comments are important – If you have used or decide to use this service, please contribute to the community by reporting back your findings.

Since our initial review we have had 2 new trades (last week), a winner and a loser.

It means we are down -9% now and require 7 out of the next 8 trades to be winners to get us back to break-even (assuming an average return of 30-35% per trade).

    Another loser for me!

Whats the difference between Reaction Forex and Fix The Markets? Different name and 10% of the price!

Whats the difference between this and other Agora products – None, its going back, yes a 100% money back guarantee but no return on my wasted time and effort yet again – Last Agora experience for me!

Really simple question – Anyone out there ever bought a product from Agora, made money and still using it after 12 months?

Yep – 1 more loser in June for us – We have worked it out though – If the service can get back to the 80% hit rate, with an average 2 trades a week at 30-35% we might just be in profit by Christmas.

We have had another trade this week and another loser, -24% since we started – Just like with Fix The Markets – It’s such a long road back to break-even from here so we will now cease coverage of this service.

Those reading this in 1 years time – Yes it’s dated but it is still a true reflection of our experience which is, the best we can do.
